Phosphorus recovery solution
Letonite Filter System
A smart, sustainable solution for phosphorus removal in small-to-medium wastewater treatment plants.
The Letonite Filter System is non-corrosive, easy to install, and delivers up to 95% phosphorus removal efficiency. It helps treatment plants cut costs and meet strict EU regulations—without the downsides of chemical-based solutions. Clean water. Circular impact.

How it works
The Letonite filter is installed at the final stage of biological treatment, providing an efficient solution for phosphorus removal. It uses a cartridge filled with a proprietary mineral material, delivered in bulk (big bags), and designed for easy replacement on a regular schedule.
Letonite filter can be used as an alternative to chemical phosphorus reduction methods or as a polishing step to remove the remaining pollution.
Once saturated, the spent material can be air-dried and safely reused as a phosphorus-enriched soil amendment, supporting circular use in agriculture.
